Greenhouse 2024 - Mentor
Greenhouse - A space to grow
Envision Greenhouse provides diverse young leaders within The Alliance Canada with meaningful leadership mentoring relationships. We’re eager to build creative environments that foster growth and collaboration beyond the local context. Greenhouse is an opportunity for both mentors and leaders to flourish. Healthy community and leadership development happens naturally in the Kingdom of God when we learn from one another’s backgrounds, ministries, careers, skills, and spiritual journeys.
Role of the Mentor
As a mentor, you'll be paired with a young leader (between the ages of 18-28) for 12 weeks of one-on-one mentoring. In addition to one-on-one mentoring, we connect these young leaders to an online community of peers for 3-4 online sessions that focus on relevant teaching and practical exercises related to our cohort competency.
This fall our cohort competency is Global Leadership - How we can lead in a Global World! It runs from September 8th to December 14th, 2024
1-1 MENTORING
- Once you are paired with a leader through Envision, you will work with them to set the time, frequency, and place for your digital meetings. (Minimum 8 Sessions)
- You will aid the leader in the development of goals that focuses on their individual growth & development as an emerging leader.
- You will submit a copy of your midway and final evaluation over the course of the next few months.
Please note that our goal is to match the right leaders and mentors. On occasion, we have more mentors apply than are needed for a particular cohort.
